Rising Home Prices in Arizona

For many real estate investors, Arizona seemed was a paradise not too long ago. Today the price of an SlideRight Pics 055average home sold in Arizona is up more than 20 percent from the same time in 2011. That tops the list nationwide but is at least twice as high as the rate of increase of any other state and five times as high as the national average. However, home values are not increasing as steadily. In order to get the most return on investment, you’d like the appraisal to rise as quickly as the sale price.

Howard Fischer, who writes for The Bugle, commented on the rising prices in and around Phoenix. “Home values continue to climb sharply in the Phoenix metro area, which includes Maricopa and Pinal counties. But several counties, including Pima, Coconino and Yuma, still are struggling to bring values into positive territory.”

One of the easiest ways to increase your property value is to install new windows, doors, automatic sliding doors and pool barriers on your property.  They will help drive up the value as well as increase appeal and cut down on time trying to sell your home. Although they may seem like small things, they all add up and can make the difference when selling your home. Not only does the SlideRight system come at a competitively low cost, it also provides energy savings. In today’s market, sustainability and energy saving attributes are very attractive to potential homebuyers.

Even if you are not looking to sell your home for the foreseeable future, you can still save money with the amount of energy saved. It’s always a good investment.
